Coaching through equine behaviour

What is coaching?

Coaching is a present and future focused approach to personal development, and is action orientated where a specially trained coach and equine works with an individual or group to help them achieve their goals.

Equine Assisted Learning (or Equine Assisted Therapy)

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is an experiential and unique way of communicating emotional and behavioural issues through working with horses.

Horses are prey animals and monitor their environment, and the people in it, 24/7. They rely on their flight instinct and connection within a herd for survival.

By working with the horses' own behaviour, they can help us become aware of our own responses and actions and help us address areas which may need balance in our daily life.

EAL/EAT is a complementary therapy used as a tool for personal growth and development.

EAL/EAT works in the areas of, but is not limited to…

  • Self-awareness

  • Confidence building

  • Problem solving and decision making

  • Addiction recovery

  • Communication skills

  • Relationship skills
